Hello people on the Internet. It's Lexi again. My sisters asked me to do a post about rehearsals for Anne of Green Gables, and of course I said yes. So, I followed them around with a camera to document a rehearsal. My friend Sierra was also there taking pictures, so between the two of us, I think we got some good shots. So here we go.
At the beginning of every rehearsal, the director has the cast do a group photo. The rehearsal was just for everyone in the school scenes (except the boys and teacher, who were practicing in another room), so here is the picture
Let the rehearsal begin! The director was placing everyone in their spots on the benches for the school house. Sadly we didn't have benches to work with, so we improvised.
Quick disclaimer: I am not in the cast. I am only in the picture because Briana was busy and couldn't make rehearsal, so I filled in for her.
Here is everyone practicing for the "Christmas concert". There will actually be a song, and Diana (Cameron), Jane (Kaitlyn), and Ruby (Emily) will have solos in it.
The rest of the cast learning the song, except for Anne, Diana, Jane and Ruby..
Who were off practicing another scene for the director. This is the one where the four girls are reenacting a scene from King Arthur, and Anne floats down the river.
Another scene from the Christmas concert. The little girls are going to be fairies, and Anne is fairy queen. Morgan was busy rehearsing, so Sam stood in so the director could get a feel for what it would look like.
Now onto some fun pictures. There is always a break during rehearsal, and everyone always hangs out. Ella and Elizabeth decided to cartwheel.
Riley, Hazel, Sam and Charlotte hung out together in the corner.
Morgan insisted on taking a selfie with her "friends" from the cast. (In real life, they are amazing friends as well.)
Audrey, Summer and Charlotte. They are so much fun, and I love how they're just being silly.
The little girls wanted in on the action, so they had Sierra get a photo of them.
Rehearsals went really well, and everyone did a great job. I bet the finished product is going to be amazing.
Melodie and Morgan always end with a question (although I don't quite understand why), so here's mine: Would you like me to do more behind the scenes posts? If so, what would you like to see? (there's two questions now)

Great job! The show's coming along nicely, isn't it?:)
ReplyDeleteYes, it is. We already have a good portion of lines memorized, and blocking is coming along nicely. We are super excited about the show.

Cute post! This was really fun! I've been in a few productions before, and things are so crazy and fun behind the scenes! :)
